Abstract |
In this seminar, the speaker will use the results of “The Global State of Information Security 2011”, a worldwide study by PricewaterhouseCoopers, CIO Magazine and CSO Magazine, to share his insights with the audience on what global executives expect of information security in the current business environment and what strategies should be considered by information security managers to align their information security function with what their business really needs.

Biography |

Kok Tin Gan is a Senior Manager in the PwC Risk and Controls Solutions Practice in Hong Kong. He plays a key role in developing the practice Technology and Information Security team in Hong Kong, China and coordinates various engagements across the Asia Pacific region. Kok Tin has more than 8 years of experience spanning from information security, IT governance, data loss prevention and its related technology, ISO27001:2005 standards, Public Key Infrastructure management, source code security reviews and ethical hacking services. Kok Tin has been involved in a big variety of information security related engagements across Asia and in the US. Kok Tin has performed most of his work in the sector of financial services, government, high-tech and gaming. Kok Tin holds certifications for CISM, CISA and CCA.
